Mission & Vision
Beach Recovery was founded in response to our quest to find answers to questions such as: “Can beach erosion be reversed?” “Can you take a beach from a state of erosion to a state of accretion?” These driving questions coupled with the power of the internet allowed us to bring together people from all around the world in search of an answer.
To discover answers to these questions, we had to look at the dynamics of the natural coastal beach building processes throughout history. By studying the natural process through reviewing historical records and observations, we learned how the beaches of the world used to look. This was the information that we needed to launch the process of formulating a solution that would work with nature to use the ocean’s wave energy to stop erosion and start building accretion once again.
At Beach Recovery we work with scientist, engineers, PhD’s, entrepreneurs and inventors to develop better methods of accretion building technologies to solve today’s ever growing erosion problem that our coastlines are facing worldwide.
